Who wants a chocolate-vanilla marbled cake? If you have children, they certainly won’t be the ones to say no! The classic recipe is to be tested to taste it. An amazing cake for a family meeting, it is the perfect dessert.

What we need to make this delicious chocolate marble cake

For the chocolate marbled cake recipe:

  • half-salt butter
  • egg
  • sugar
  • flour
  • vanilla pod
  • cocoa Powder

How to make chocolate marble cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C 
  2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar, until the mixture turns white. Gradually add the flour, then the melted butter, stirring.
  3. Divide the dough evenly, into two containers. Add the cocoa powder to the first bowl, and the vanilla to the other.
  4. In a buttered and floured cake mold, distribute the two cocoa and vanilla preparations, using a tablespoon, alternating them.
  5. Bake and cook for 45 to 50 minutes.
  6. Check the cooking by planting a knife in the center of the cake: The blade should come out dry.

Some tips

For more lightness, you can whip the egg whites and add them delicately to the first preparation.

You can also replace half the butter with the same weight of liquid cream.

  • The seeds of 1 Vanilla pod
  • 3/8  cup ocoa powder

  • In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar, until the mixture turns white. Gradually add the flour, then the melted butter, stirring.
  • Divide the dough evenly, into two containers. Add the cocoa powder to the first bowl, and the vanilla to the other.
  • In a buttered and floured cake mold, distribute the two cocoa and vanilla preparations, using a tablespoon, alternating them.
  • Bake and cook for 45 to 50 minutes.
